About the role
As an IT Pro Evangelist at Nerdio, you will play a key role to build awareness, nurture a thriving community of IT professionals, and drive the adoption of Nerdio Manager offerings withing the End-user Community market. You will serve as a subject matter expert and public face of our Nerdio Manager solutions, best practices, EUC thought leadership, and provide sales and technical marketing support through enablement, impactful media, and content creation. This is highly collaborative with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success, to align community initiatives with broader business objectives and priorities.
Your success will depend on your ability to work with various constituencies inside and outside the company, and your ability to drive community reach and interest as well as creating impact.
What you'll do
Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure bi-directional communication, input, and awareness of objectives and activities (product management, engineering, marketing, sales, customer success)
Develop content and assets to educate prospects and customers on Nerdio as a major player with regards to Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 as Cloud VDI/DaaS offerings.
Generate insightful & compelling thought leadership content (webinars, blogs, e-books, etc.) to influence customers, buyers, industry specialists, research analysts, key editors in the press and other third parties.
Create and deliver technical talks/workshops through webcasts, industry conferences, customer events, and roadshows.
Represent Nerdio Manager and its value approach on social media, industry publications, podcasts, and other external platforms.
Develop and nurture online community (content, campaign, influencers, ambassadors) by actively engaging in conversations, driving follower acquisition, owning our online community platform, and expanding our relationships with key influencers in the EUC community.
Drive Nerdio presence in EUC communities in the industry as well in Nerdio community.
Maintain a strong awareness of the competitive landscape and market trends.
Qualifications
7+ years of technical marketing, product marketing, product management, or sales engineer experience for an enterprise VDI/DaaS or similar tech company.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
Deep understanding of the End-user Computing (EUC) industry.
Technical knowledge of VDI, DaaS, Unified Endpoint Management technologies (UEM), and cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Well versed in technical products used by IT administrators, such as Citrix App and Desktop Virtualization, VMware Horizon, Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop / Windows 365, data center technologies.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple stories.
Strong presenter with experience developing and delivering technical presentations.
Experience producing creative, technical content, and acting as a key influencer and spokesperson in the market.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
Project management skills to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
Team player with a proactive “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
