Senior Growth Product Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Growth Product Manager to own and drive the trial and activation experience for Connect AI. This is a high-impact, highly visible role that sits at the intersection of product, marketing, design and engineering. You will own the trial experience and conversion of customers through our PLG funnel, defining what “good” looks like for a new user’s first hours and days with Connect AI. You will identify and remove friction across the user journey, engineer aha moments, and build the product loops that turn curious trial users into deeply activated power users and paying customers.

This role requires a blend of product intuition, data fluency, and growth mindset. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Sales to design and ship experiments that measurably move activation metrics.

Why This Role Matters:

This role is critical to accelerating adoption and long-term growth of Connect AI by ensuring new users quickly realize value from the platform. The Senior Growth Product Manager will directly influence how prospects experience Connect AI during their first interactions, shaping the onboarding, activation, and trial journey that drives product-led growth. By identifying friction points, optimizing conversion funnels, and building scalable growth loops, this role will help increase customer activation, improve trial-to-paid conversion, and strengthen retention. As Connect AI continues to expand, this position will play a key role in translating user behavior and insights into product experiences that support revenue growth, customer success, and broader product strategy.

Location(s): Remote, United States

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Trial Experience Strategy

  • Define and own the end-to-end trial user journey for Connect AI, from first sign-up through activation milestones
  • Establish and track a North Star activation metric along with supporting leading indicators (e.g., time-to-first-connection, queries run, sources configured)
  • Build a deep qualitative and quantitative understanding of where and why users drop off during trial, and prioritize the highest-leverage interventions

Activation & Onboarding

  • Design, ship, and iterate on in-product onboarding flows, tooltips, empty states, and packaged AI skills that accelerate time-to-value
  • Collaborate with Design to create frictionless signup, configuration, and first-run experiences that reflect the power of Connect AI without overwhelming new users
  • Identify and build “aha moment” experiences that drive users to their first meaningful outcome (e.g., first successful AI-assisted query, first live data connection)

Growth Experimentation

  • Own the growth experimentation roadmap for trial and activation; design, launch, and analyze A/B tests and multivariate experiments
  • Work with Engineering to build a robust experimentation infrastructure and maintain a healthy pipeline of growth hypotheses
  • Translate experiment results into clear product decisions and communicate findings to stakeholders

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with Marketing on trial acquisition quality, in-app messaging, and lifecycle campaigns that drive activation
  • Work with Customer Success to identify patterns from churned trial users and build product solutions that address root causes
  • Own the data & analytics infrastructure for robust event instrumentation, cohort analysis, and funnel visibility across the trial lifecycle

Roadmap & Prioritization

  • Define and maintain the growth roadmap for trial and activation, balancing quick wins with foundational platform improvements
  • Write clear, actionable product specs and user stories; partner with Engineering to scope and deliver high-quality features on time
  • Represent user and growth insights and influence broader Connect AI product strategy
Qualifications

Must Haves:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on growth, PLG (product-led growth), or activation at a B2B SaaS or developer-tools company
  • Demonstrated track record of owning and improving trial-to-activation or free-to-paid conversion funnels with measurable results
  • Strong experimentation discipline: experience designing, running, and interpreting statistically sound A/B tests
  • Deep comfort with data, including writing SQL, navigating analytics tools, and independently generating actionable insights.
  • Experience working in PLG or self-serve product environments where the product itself is the primary growth channel
  • Excellent cross-functional communication skills; ability to align Engineers, Designers, Marketers, and Executives around a shared growth vision
  • Experience working in distributed, remote-first environments

Nice to Have:

  • Background in data integration, connectivity, AI/ML products, or developer-facing platforms
  • Experience with product-led growth motions, including in-app upgrade prompts, usage-based pricing triggers, and viral loops
  • Experience working with agentic AI platforms or AI-native products, including a strong understanding of user behavior, onboarding, and engagement within AI-driven experiences
  • Experience building onboarding for technical or semi-technical users (e.g., analysts, data engineers, IT professionals)
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus, but not required
Travel Required: Travel expected up to 20% for onsite team meetings, customer engagements, and company events.

US Only: The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is $190,000 - $230,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary depending on specific location, experience, and qualifications. This role may also be eligible for a performance-based bonus.
