What you'll do
- Conduct Enterprise and/or Managed Service Provider (MSP) Technical Training: Deliver engaging and comprehensive in-person and virtual technical training sessions to external partners on Nerdio's IT management platform and Microsoft Azure services. In this role, you will be prioritizing the delivery of multi-day, technical training sessions lasting 8-10 hours a day. Stamina is equally important to knowledge. When you are not conducting in-person trainings, you will be conducting multiple hours of virtual trainings a day or developing training content.
- Curriculum Development: Collaborate with others at Nerdio to create and update training materials, videos, documentation, and resources to support Enterprise and/or MSP partner learning.
- Training Delivery: Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions, workshops, and bootcamps, ensuring partners understand and can efficiently use Nerdio’s Enterprise and/or MSP product features.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through evaluations and feedback, making continuous improvements to enhance the learning experience.
- Develop and deliver reports and metrics to drive a data-driven culture of education to this section.
- Technical Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of Nerdio Manger for Enterprise and/or MSP, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and other relevant technologies to deliver up-to-date and accurate training content.
- Travel and Engagement: Travel up to 70% of the time to various locations—both domestic and international, for training sessions, industry events, and conferences to conduct training sessions and build strong relationships with partners.
- Remote Training: Conduct virtual training sessions for partners who may be remote or located in different regions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Partner Enablement teams to identify partner training needs and tailor content accordingly.
Qualifications
- Strong Presentation Skills: The ability to develop, maintain, and deliver clear and engaging presentations to a diverse audience of Enterprise and/or MSP personas through both live and virtual events. The ideal candidate should be comfortable not only delivering material, but also serving as a subject matter expert for the curriculum and syllabi themselves.
- Critical Thinking: A proficiency in reducing a series of complex concepts into terms that are easy-to-digest by an array of personas. The ideal candidate is ‘comfortable being uncomfortable’ in the sense that they will never know everything about the space but are still driven to continuously improve and adapt.
- Empathy and Soft Skills: A proficiency in communication skills – be that via email, in front of a large audience, or one-on-one discussions with customers or partners during networking events / on-site Enterprise and/or trainings.
- Technical Acumen: A demonstrated ability to self-direct research activity to find solutions to problems – be them in the curriculum itself, changes in the technical landscape, changes to our product offering, or those issues surfaced as use case questions during presentations. Along with an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Defender, and cloud computing concepts.
- Adaptability: A resilient, problem-solving nature that allows them to thrive in a continuously shifting environment without becoming fatigued by the volume, velocity, or type of changes. Along with the flexibility to accommodate partner-specific training requirements and adapt training styles to meet diverse learning needs.
- Collaboration: A collaborative nature which allows them to operate as both a stakeholder and a learning and design subject matter expert when working with different internal and external personas.
- Training and Development: Experience in designing and delivering technical training programs, workshops, and bootcamps.
- Asset Creation and Maintenance: Comfortable creating and maintaining assets including video/webinars, text-based lessons, lab guides, presentation decks, and exams.
- Travel-Ready: Willingness to travel 70% of the time to conduct on-site training and represent Nerdio at industry events. If you cannot travel at a 70% minimum pace, this job is not a match for you.
- Customer-Centric: A customer-focused mindset, ensuring partners receive exceptional training experiences that lead to successful IT practices.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues during training sessions and provide effective solutions.
