About the role
Nerdio is looking to hire a Product Manager for our Nerdio Manager for MSPs (NMM) product. As a product manager you will be responsible for product discovery, design, development, and delivery
What you'll do
- Identify features and functionality to build in the product
- Work out the details of the functionality and provide user stories/specifications to engineering team
- Work with engineering and QA to build, test & release the functionality
- Work with technical writers to document the new features and functionality
- Roll out the functionality internally to the support & sales team
- Work with marketing team on product marketing activities for the new functionality
- You will be expected to become an expert in our MSP product. Sales, engineering support, customer success, technical account managers and others will lean on you to understand how the product works and ask deep questions about the product features
- You will be in-charge of the product backlog for NMM
- Your success will depend on your ability to work with various constituencies inside and outside the company, and your ability to rapidly innovate and iterate the product.
Qualifications
- Prior expertise with Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure and desktop virtualization in general is highly preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have lots of hands-on IT admin experience and deeply understand the EUC market & all the players in it, such as Citrix, VMware, Microsoft, and others.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher required
- Five years or more of EUC industry experience
- Two years or more of Product Management or Project Management experience required
- Excellent presentation skills and verbal & written communication skills
Travel
- Position is remote work only. Quarterly travel to conferences or meetings is expected. Nerdio staff is spread out throughout the world. While you will manage your own work hours, some work outside local business hours in your region is expected.
