Position Overview

We are seeking a versatile mid-level professional Project Manager who can bridge the gap between our technical teams and business stakeholders. This hybrid role combines project management, scrum master activities, business analysis, and stakeholder engagement to drive critical IT initiatives that deliver tangible business value. The ideal candidate will help create and facilitate agile processes while maintaining a keen focus on stakeholder needs and business outcomes. You will work closely with various departments across the company to enhance operational efficiencies through the effective use of technology solutions.

Responsibilities

· Project Management (~40%)

o Organize “waterfall” projects for the technical teams and drive toward completion of dated milestones.

o Provide regular reporting on project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders

o Collaborate with technical teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features

o Work closely with business stakeholders to understand customer needs and integrate feedback into technical solutions.

· Scrum Master (~25%)

o Assist in defining an Agile framework that works for the company needs

o Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

o Remove impediments and help shield the team from external distractions

o Coach team members on agile principles and best practices

o Prioritize product backlog items based on business value

o Track and communicate team velocity, burndown metrics, and sprint progress

o Coordinate cross-functional dependencies and ensure alignment across teams

· Business Analysis (~25%)

o Gather, document, and analyze functional and non-functional requirements

o Create detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria

o Develop and maintain process flows, wireframes, and user journey maps

o Perform gap analysis between current and future states

· Business Engagement (10%)

o Work with the CIO to serve as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders

o Help create quarterly joint business plans with key stakeholders

o Present solution demos and gather feedback from stakeholders

o Represent the voice of the stakeholder throughout the solution development lifecycle

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • PMP Certification, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification
  • 5+ years of combined experience in product management, business analysis, and/or scrum master roles
  • Experience with enterprise hardware/software solutions
  • Track record of successfully delivered solutions via management methodologies and modern tools
  • Demonstrated experience with Agile frameworks
  • Requirements gathering and documentation techniques
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
  • Data analysis and reporting (SQL, Excel, BI tools)
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • Business case development and ROI analysis
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) across technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Adaptability and comfort with ambiguity
  • Self-motivation, bias toward action, and organizational discipline
  • Conflict resolution and team building
