Overview

This new role is an opportunity to drive marketing initiatives at a growing global SaaS company. We are looking for a marketing director to drive the planning, resourcing and execution of our global marketing plan. The position reports to the COO, who is acting as the company’s CMO.

We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented Marketing Director to lead and coordinate marketing initiatives across our SaaS organization. This role is responsible for driving marketing effectiveness, optimizing investment returns, and ensuring seamless collaboration between teams including Field Marketing, Business Development, Product Marketing, Marketing Ops, and Content. The ideal candidate brings proven digital marketing experience, strong program management skills, and expertise in tools like Asana, MS SharePoint, Salesforce, and 6sense.

This role is based in our central Amsterdam office and requires four days in-office attendance per week.


Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and manage cross-functional marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and timelines
  • Own and track the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and clear ROI reporting
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, coordinating key campaigns, launches, and events
  • Monitor performance metrics to ensure the company’s marketing investments are driving measurable business value
  • Design, document, and optimize scalable processes for the marketing team to drive efficiency and accountability
  • Act as the central project coordinator across Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Business Development, Growth Marketing, and Content teams
  • Analyze marketing performance by channel and campaign to identify opportunities for optimization
  • Continuously improve systems, workflows, and reporting tools to streamline operations and support agile marketing execution
  • Facilitate alignment and collaboration with Sales and Business Development to support pipeline generation and revenue goals


Experience

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience managing digital marketing programs within a SaaS environment
  • Strong track record of coordinating and executing multi-channel campaigns, including SEO, SEM/PPC, display, email, social media, content marketing, and events
  • Proven ability to manage marketing budgets, allocate resources, and oversee performance across multiple channels
  • Skilled in measuring campaign performance, reporting on ROI, and using insights to refine marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated project management expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and meet deadlines
  • Experience identifying target audiences and creating compelling campaigns that drive engagement and conversion
  • Proficiency in optimizing landing pages, user flows, and conversion funnels for maximum impact
  • Hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate experiments, and data-driven decision making
  • Proficient in SaaS marketing tools including Asana, Salesforce, Google Ads, and familiarity with additional platforms like 6sense, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and marketing automation tools is a plus
