As a Senior Business Development Associate (BDA) at Piano, you will play a critical role in accelerating early-stage sales opportunities and driving pipeline growth for our Analytics product line across the Americas. Sitting at the intersection of Marketing and Sales, this role combines strategic prospecting with inside sales execution to help Piano engage enterprise organizations more effectively and efficiently.
This is a senior-level, front-line role that goes beyond lead generation—you're expected to identify high-potential accounts, qualify complex opportunities, and contribute directly to revenue growth through intelligent, informed outreach. You'll also serve as a key source of market intelligence, shaping campaign strategies and helping Sales prioritize the most promising prospects.
Key Responsibilities
Early-Stage Pipeline Advancement
- Own the top of the sales funnel by proactively engaging target accounts through outbound calls, tailored emails, LinkedIn outreach, and follow-up from campaigns, events, and webinars.
- Work with Sales to transition qualified leads into active opportunities with well-informed discovery and contextual handoffs.
Discovery & Qualification
- Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations to uncover prospect needs, assess product fit, and evaluate buying intent and urgency.
- Surface meaningful insights that help Sales teams tailor their strategies and close more effectively.
Strategic Campaign Collaboration
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales on account-based strategies, targeted outreach campaigns, and content distribution plans.
- Help refine and evolve Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP) and segmentation based on real-world interactions and data.
Insight-Driven Selling
- Maintain a strong understanding of Piano Analytics and articulate how our solutions solve real business challenges for enterprise clients.
- Tailor messaging to different buyer personas and roles, from technical stakeholders to business executives.
Omni-channel Engagement
- Execute strategic, multi-touch outreach across email, phone, social, events, and web content to maximize engagement.
- Leverage tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, and 6sense to prioritize outreach, track interactions, and identify account intent signals.
Market Feedback & Intelligence
- Act as a voice of the market by delivering regular insights to Product, Marketing, and Sales.
- Identify emerging trends, buyer objections, and messaging gaps that inform go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in outbound opportunity generation, with enterprise-level SaaS solutions.
- Results-Driven: A goal-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with digital analytics sector is a plus, but not required.
- Location: Candidates must reside in the Greater Singapore area and be able to be in the office at least 3 times per week.
