Position Purpose:

We are seeking a hunter with a proven track record of closing new business in the highly competitive RegTech and Identity Verification space. As an SMB Account Executive, you will be responsible for the entire sales cycle,from prospecting to close,targeting small and medium-sized businesses in key UK verticals. The ideal candidate will be a quota-carrying sales professional with direct experience selling B2B SaaS, deep knowledge of IDV, AML, KYC, and KYB, and a background in the competitive identity verification market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Sales: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Identify, qualify, and build a robust pipeline of SMB clients within target verticals such as FinTech, Crypto, E-commerce, Marketplaces, and Online Gaming.
  • Product Evangelism: Articulate the unique value proposition of Shufti Pro’s platform, effectively differentiating us from other solutions in the market.
  • Solution Selling: Conduct discovery calls and demos to understand prospect pain points around compliance, fraud, and user onboarding, and tailor solutions using our suite of products.
  • Market Intelligence: Leverage your existing knowledge of the competitive landscape to win deals and provide strategic feedback to our product and marketing teams.
  • Target-Driven Performance: Consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas for revenue and new customer acquisition.
  • CRM Excellence: Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities and pipeline in HubSpot/Salesforce.

You are a competitive, results-oriented sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven history of achieving sales targets. You understand the technical and compliance challenges of digital identity inside and out. You know the objections, the key players in the market, and the key decision-makers in the UK. You're not just an order-taker; you're a strategic hunter who knows how to displace incumbents and win business.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience in a full-cycle, closing sales role (SMB or Mid-Market focus).
  • Proven Experience selling a B2B SaaS product in the IDV, KYC, KYB, AML, or Compliance (RegTech) space.
  • A consistent track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and the regulatory challenges faced by UK businesses.
  • Demonstrated ability to self-source a pipeline using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, cold calling, and other prospecting methods.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
